PCG Cares: Massachusetts Natural Gas Explosions

On September 13, 2018, pressure in natural gas lines caused a cascading series of fires and explosions in Lawrence, Andover, and North Andover, Massachusetts. These towns are just 30 minutes north of Boston, home to PCG's corporate headquarters. Eighty homes and buildings were destroyed, dozens were injured, and one was killed.  Electricity was shut off to the affected areas until gas service was safely restored, which took several weeks.  With no gas or electricity, many small business owners couldn't conduct business and were in serious danger of losing their livelihoods. PCG has 28 employees in Lawrence, Andover, North Andover and the surrounding communities.

By October 31st, PCG staff raised $40,395 for the Massachusetts Natural Gas Explosions.  Individuals donated to organizations such as American Red Cross and the Greater Lawrence Disaster Relief Fund.

Thank you to all who donated!
